SISTERAY headline Welcome To The Monkey House #4 on July 22nd
Sisteray have hit 2016 running. The 'gnarly punk' single (Phil Taggart BBC Radio 1) 'A Wise Man Said' gained radio play across BBC 6Music, Radio X, BBC Introducing and Radio 1. Four boys from London who's stated aim is to tear up the indie guitar rule book and who aren't scared to speak out. They started the summer playing Camden Rocks and will also be taking the stage at Isle Of Wight Festival and 1234 Festival.
The band are named after a famous shoe factory in their hometown of Northampton, five boys creating an energetic Vox-driven sound, meeting the groove of the Stone Roses, with a dash of clean-cut Strokes and Circa Waves. They have invited Sisteray to be special guests at their hometown launch gig for their new EP in June called 'Open Wounds And Windows and here Sisteray return the favour getting the boys in front of the Welcome To The Monkey House crowd.
An exciting new all-female rock band who are becoming well known for their memorable songs, complex riffs and charismatic performances. They have been performing with their current line-up for less than a year however they are already establishing themselves as a 'must-see' band on the London scene and firm favourites on BBC London Introducing and Amazing Radio.
